Step 1 - Click on "register" and fill out the brief form wiith your name, screen name (which will also be your personal URL, i.e. nightgrinder.com/yourname), email address, birthday (displayed only if you want), and password. That's It!

What if I forget my password?
Happens all the time. Just click on the "Forgot my Password" link in the login box. We will send your password to the registered email address.
How do I cnange my password
Just go to "account settings". You can change it there.
When I try to login the page just refreshes?
You need to Enable cookies on your browser. If the only cookies that you have ever heard of are round and edible, please read below:

1. In Internet Explorer, find the Tools menu item and select Options. Then, click on the privacy tab and alter your privacy settings to allow cookies.
2. In Firefox, go to the preferences/options page and then click on the "privacy" tab. In the cookies section, choose to "Allow sites to set cookies."
3. In Safari, click "safari" on the top tab, scroll down to "preferences", and find the "security" tab. Then, either click "Always Accept Cookies" or "only from sites you navigate to."
Once you're done, close and restart your browser and try logging in again. You should also make sure that Facebook cookies are allowed by your firewall and spyware protection programs.

How do I edit my profile?
Once logged in, click on "Manage my Profile" link at top. You can then edit anything from that page including pictures, user info, etc.

This is the page where you can do just about everything, like delete favorite bars, bands, read your messages, manage groups, or share events.

How can I remove my account?
We're not sure why you would want to but if you do, send us an email to info@nightgrinder.com explaining your reason and be sure to type "remove my account" in the subject line, and if you would, please let us know why you're leaving. Then you can go to your "account settings" and delete your acount.

How do I search for stuff?

Top left of the page, in the "Search Box".

Groups are very powerful. You can setup any group name and invite any of your friends to participate in the group. Once set-up, when you click on "share event" it will ask if you want to share with your friends, a group, and if a group, which group.

Which ever you select, it will automatically send an event invite to them all instantly, where they can accept, block or reply to. We have added an RSVP feature so all members or group participants will be able to see who is going to the event.

This is a great feature for bars or bands too, because when they post an update on their specials or events it will automatically tell everyone in their group about the update! Think of the possibilities.

How do I add my friends?

• Login and search for them in the "search" box by name or email. Once at their profile, click on "add friend", they will sent a friend requests.
• If they're not yet signed up, you can click on "Invite a friend" link below search box. This will email them with links to sign up.

How do I block someone from contacting me?
In your list of friends, just click on "block" them (you can always unblock later).

Uploading Photos

To upload photos login and go to "edit my profile" then "my photos and video".

• To insure the best display try to keep your photos at 300x300px or less.
• Settings should be at a maximum 300 DPI, (preferrably 72 DPI)
• You can upload .jpg .gif .bmp or .png images.
• Crop to a "square" perspective if you can to avoid distortion.
• Remember images will be sized down to 150 px. and 60 pxx in size depending on where they are viewed on the site, so keep them clear.
• MAXIMUM size is 1.5mb each

Uploading Video

We provide access for you to link to your videos in youtube, or any other video directory within your profile page if you are a band or musician only.

Uploading Audio

To upload audio you will need to provide mp3 format, with a maximum of 5mb each.
